"My Adventure with Indian River County Fire Rescue" is my first book and is SOLD OUT.
The book is a chronicle of the experiences I had tagging along as an IRC Fire Rescue Paparazza, plus a closer look at some of them I came to know. It is full of photos! I created, designed and self-published the book through Chunky Monkey Advertising, Inc. See www.chunkymonkeyadvertising.com. It is not meant to be a comprehensive textbook on the department. Instead it is the slice of life I experienced while riding along over the course of four months with IRC Fire Rescue. My hope is people will enjoy it and learn all that these Heroes do for us day in and day out. I am an eternal optimist, yet I have to say before embarking on this adventure, I had no idea how jaded towards humans I had become. These people have restored my faith in humanity. Just think: there are actually people out there, lots of them in fact, who risk their own safety and give up so much of their own lives – holidays, family time, their own safety - in order to save ours.
